Chillin’ Out
I typed this entry last August 7, but due to financial problems, I wasn’t able to buy net card at Starbucks. So now that I’m back, here it is..(like anybody cares, haha)
After 4 months of not being able to enjoy the thrill of finally being over college (well, due to valuable reasons of course, and that is preparing for the boards), here I am today, having the whole week off for myself, spending quality time here in Baguio. I must say I am having the time of my life here. Or am I? Really? Well, it’s just my first day of staying at my dear little sister’s apartment (with her friends of course), first night’s fine, I got the hang of watching One Tree Hill on DVD with them, and I actually liked it (more of OTH on next posts). My plan for the day or for the week was really to be working out to shed some pounds off to be able for me to fit and look great in a dress in time for our oath taking ceremony 1st day next month. However, the weather prohibited me from doing so as it was raining almost the whole day. A tropical storm was affecting Northern Luzon, yeah, in time for my planned escapades. Great. And where am I now if you may ask? Starbucks, SM Baguio. C’mon, I went all the way here only to find myself being at the same place I spent most of my time in reviewing for the past 4 months, only in a different branch. But then again, thinking about it otherwise makes me feel it’s not as bad as it seems. All I wanted to be was to feel relaxed and be comfortable, and maybe spend a whole day not thinking about anything, just be cool and appreciate the things around me. And a great foggy view, relaxing music and my favorite cup of coffee in a rainy day could be a good simple start of my chill out week.
A thought came just now: I feel like a geeky blogger-traveler now; how many people do I know who would go in such a famous vacation spot in the country only to find oneself staying for the rest of the morning in a coffee shop, with a laptop, typing something for the blog, instead of exploring the land. Again blame it on the weather. Wahaha.
I am looking forward for something more to do for my next days. I really wanted to explore this rare chance of being away from everything, experience the thrill of having some change in environment and make the most out of this week. I just hope I have somebody to share this week with.

Marsmallow, it’s every “emo” blogger’s dream to freely be inspired and blog in a place such as Baguio and — coffee shops…
I remembered SB Camp John Hay… it’s the best coffee house ever, especially on a foggy night. Ang sarap mag emote. Hopefully next time maulit yon and I won’t mind spending it with you… yikeee…
